Kani Doraku Japanese Restaurant Travel Photography. Kani Doraku Japanese restaurant was established in 1971.  Kani Doraku is a Japanese restaurant chain that specializes in crustaceans and other seafood. The restaurants are known for their traditional appearance and the large, mechanical, red crab that moves above the main entrance.[1]

Common sense of meal, start from the light-tasting dishes. The chef using different cooking methods and mix different ingredients. eg Sashimi, Steam, Cheese Bake, BBQ, Tempura, Sushi, Mix with Rice. Japan - Osaka - Sabu Sabu - Hot pot - Travel Photography Review

Osaka Sabu Sabu Travel Photography. The oil pattern on the wagyu beef is very beautiful. Taste Wagyu beef, with sesame seeds ground into crumbles and mix with the sesame sauce, which is delicious. The fresh crabs are neatly placed on the food plate very delicate. The crab meat is delicious, fresh sweet, elastic, and very fresh. The Miso soup taste is very rich. The side dishes have many different kinds of vegetables, mushrooms, etc... and are arranged in a pot arranged very beautifully. In this restaurant, take photos using a flashlight is forbidden. I can only take photos with a large ISO, and hold the camera to be stable to take the following photos.

Japan - Shrine - Travel Photography

Japan - Osaka - Toyokuni Shrine 豐國神社 Travel Photography Review

Toyokuni Shrine Travel Photography. Toyokuni Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It was built in 1599 to commemorate Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is the location of the first tamaya (a Shinto altar for ancestor worship) ever constructed, which was later destroyed by the Tokugawa clan.[1]

When I arrived at the Toyokuni Shrine. I walked around with the camera. I hope to find a beautiful shooting angle. From front to back, left to right, far to near. This trip's experience, I am very happy. After the trip, when I saw the photos. I remember a speech. Video is recording process, Photos can bring back memories.

Japan - Kyoto - Jishu Shrine Travel Photography Review

Jishu Shrine Travel Photography. When you travel to Kyoto. You will definitely come to Kiyomizu Temple. The Jishu Shrine is just behind Kiyomizu Temple, so there is also a must-see. That year, Kiyomizu Temple was undergoing repairs, so not too many photos of Kiyomizu Temple were taken. The Jishu Shrine has a long history. Many single boys and ladies come to worship the shrine to ask for a good marriage. Couples are also attracted to the shrine to pray for a long time. There is a marriage stone in the temple. First, you are far away from the marriage stone. Second, you close your eyes, and go to the marriage stone and touch it. The marriage will come, so if you are a single boy and lady, you can try it. I wish you have a marriage and happiness.

Hong Kong to Japan Osaka

Sunrise Travel Photography. Every time I travel to Japan. I look forward to it. I hope I can touch with different things. There will have a different first time. Whether it’s food, scenery, things, experiences, etc., I hope to be different. This time travel to Japan Osaka from Hong Kong. When I board the plane. I began to pay attention to the window, and skylight change. I prepared well, and pay attention to whether the sunrise started. The sky began to see some faint light, and I needed to start shooting until the sky was all bright. You don’t know when it’s the most beautiful picture will go in your eyes. The sun's position at a different level, according to time is lost, the plane’s flight angle,  sunlight, and clouds refraction. The sky color is unexpected. But this time I meet the most beautiful sunrise. I took photos to freeze this moment.

Use the Hyperfocal distance photography method. If you want to know more about Hyperfocal distance, you can read the article below.

Before taking a sky photo on the plane experience. I know need to set a bigger aperture value and more fast shutter speed. I try to take "underexposure, normal exposure, and overexposure." and I choose a better one.

Recommend using a small aperture (e.g. F 9.5 ),  and Hyperfocal distance method
The very important, sunlight is very strong, it will hurt your eyes. Be careful!

You want to take the sharpest possible photographs use the Hyperfocal distance method. This method has limitations. In this article, I will explain hyperfocal distance and give methods to get the sharpest possible photographs with a maximum depth of field.

What is Hyperfocal distance?

Online has many Hyperfocal distance articles. Hyperfocal distance is the focusing distance that gives your photos the greatest depth. You focus on a particular point between the foreground and the background. It can make both the foreground and the background elements of the scene appear reasonably sharp. This focusing point is called the hyperfocal distance.

In the optical world. Hyperfocal distance this technical definition is the closest focusing distance that allows objects at infinity to be acceptably sharp. “infinity” referring to any distant object.[1]

Use Hyperfocal distance Tips!

Use a simple method to use Hyperfocal distance. First, you need to know your lens. Lens has an “infinity” symbol. Turn the focus point to the infinity symbol.

If you use Hyperfocal distance, the main point is you need to know how many distances the screen image starts sharp according to calculation.

ref[2]
H = f2 / F (0.033)

e.g.18mm F3.5
H=18 x 18 / 3.5 x 0.033
H=2090mm
After 2090mm distance must be a sharp area.

After calculation to make a decision, Now your position is it good for use this method to take a photo? Normally the landscape photo is good for use in this method. I know sometimes this method is good for taking a news photo. That is easier to understand. In the future, I hope you can try Hyperfocal distance in your taking photo. Good Try!

Japan - Okinawa - Travel Photography

Japan - Okinawa - Cape Manzamo 萬座毛

Travel Photography Review

When traveling to Okinawa, Cape Manzamo is one of the famous locations. Tourists will go to visit. Okinawa's famous travel location points to point distance between is very far. Therefore, I recommended you rent a car. Rent a car to travel is better than using public transportation. It is because you can save more times to go to more famous locations. Cape Manzamo has a car park and has enough parking space for parking. There is a small market near to the car park. Sells a lot of local specialties. There is an endless sea on the shore of Cape Manzamo. There has a famous rock like an elephant nose. You can along the walkway to enjoy the beautiful scenery and photography.

- Hyperfocal -

Definition 1:
The hyperfocal distance is the closest distance at which a lens can be focused while keeping objects at infinity acceptably sharp. When the lens is focused at this distance, all objects at distances from half of the hyperfocal distance out to infinity will be acceptably sharp.

Definition 2:
The hyperfocal distance is the distance beyond which all objects are acceptably sharp, for a lens focused at infinity.
